still playing the Country music that has been all but eliminated from the airways.

One of our favorite people in the business is Dave Pearce from WQSU-FM in Selinsgrove
Pa.
While in high school, Dave took to the airways as a sports announcer and fill
in DJ at the Allegheny Mt. Network's WTRN-AM / WGMR-FM in Tyrone Pa.
After being away from the mike for several years, Dave returned to WTRN/WGMR
as the Friday overnight host of a Traditional Country music show.
Work & family responsibilities again took him out of radio and he thought
that career was over for good, until Joe Kantz nominated him to take over as host of "Pure as Stone Country Music Jamborree".
In the 11 years since Dave took over , he thanks in a large part to the good
will and reputation of Linda Lou Stone and Joe. Dave has had the opportunity to meet, talk with, interveiw, MC
shows and to share a meal and/or beverage with some of the greatest Legends in the Country Music industry..
In 2000 an association of Independent Producers and Artist invited him to a Showcase
& Awards Show in Nashville where he was named the "Airplay International DJ of The Year". This honor has opened lines
of communication with artist and producers in Europe, Australia/New Zealand and other parts of the world where Americas Traditional
Country Music is widly popular.
A firm believer that artist & songwriters should be reconized and rewarded
for their efforts, Dave post his weekly play list on Americn and European Reporting Boards.
You can tune in to Dave's show every Sat. morning over the internet at www.WQSU-FM.com.& locally at 88.9 on your dial. Dave would love to answer your request. Call at 570-372-4100 from 9:00 am to noon
every Saturday.

Also , following Daves show each Sat morning is Luke Roman's country show.
Lukes format is a little different than Dave's and he is heavy on the "Trucker
Tunes".
Great stuff Luke, keep on truckin'.
If that's not enough for you stay tuned for "Derric The Dude" and the rest of
the day is "Bluegrass Rules".
